About

A designer who has also built the work.

Flowpoint Fire Design is an independent consultancy led by a father-and-son team with more than 50 years in fire sprinkler design, installation, and construction management.

The practice was built on a simple observation: the best sprinkler drawings come from people who have stood in the ceiling space. Decades split between the design desk and construction management means every layout accounts for installation, inspection and long-term maintenance — not just code minimums.

Clients are fire protection contractors and engineering firms across Florida, with the heaviest concentration of work in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Engagements range from single hydraulic calculations to complete design packages for high-rise residential towers, retail, warehouse, mixed use, healthcare facilities, aircraft hangars and special hazard systems.

The goal on every project is the same: a package your AHJ approves, your field crews can build, and your schedule can absorb.

Field-first design

Design decisions are checked against how pipe actually gets hung — not just how it looks on a sheet.

Reviewer-ready submittals

Packages are assembled to answer the AHJ's questions before they're asked, cutting review cycles.

Two principals, one desk

You work directly with the two people doing the design — no hand-offs, no account managers.
